Take-me-back Tuesday: The Harry Potter WB Studio Tour, London

I can’t believe it was April 2013 I was in Europe. It’s April 2015 now. It doesn’t sound like it was thank long ago, only two years, but it feels like a lifetime ago. So much has changed since that trip. I’ve changed so much since that trip, I feel like I’ve grown so much. But one thing that hasn’t change, that won’t ever change, is my love for an escape into a book’s fantasy world. Enter Harry Potter. Like every other kid my age, I’m a massive fan of the books, even though I didn’t start reading them until a bit later, relatively to the other kids. But my love for the series is strong, it’s the perfect world to escape in. So you can imagine how excited I was to find out about the WB Studio Tour in London when I visited two years ago!

Basically, it’s a treasure trove of the remains of the movies. Costumes, sets, props, scale models, the works. It’s the most fantastic place to completely lose yourself in a world that you know is a product of imagination, but feels so damn real when you’re there in the middle of it. No point writing all about it, let me just share some of the photos from this most memorable experience…

Are you going to London? Did you grow up with Harry Potter, too? Do yourself a favour. Spend the £33.00 and visit. Trust me. Oh, and if you have a few more pounds to spare, I recommend a visit to the gift shop; my Gryffindor cardigan is the warmest, comfiest and best souvenir from my EuroTrip!
